The Government has accepted the MediShield Life Review Committee’s proposals. This is a major improvement to our social safety nets. Singaporeans will have more assurance for their medical needs.
Affordability will not be an issue. Medisave contributions will be enough to pay for MediShield Life premiums. The Ministry of Health will also keep a close eye on medical costs.
Parliament will debate MediShield Life next week. Looking forward to hearing views from different groups.
